3 part time Youth Support Worker posts for the
Youth Empowerment and Resilience Project (YEAR)
Job Title: Youth Support Worker x 3
Duration of Post: 31st May 2024, maybe extended with further funding.
Salary Scale: £ 11.58/hour
Hours: 15-20 hours per week (additional hours, evening & weekend work may be required)
Location: CRUN Offices, 1 Brook Street, COLERAINE, BT52 1PW
Responsible to: Project Co-Ordinator
Summary of Post: The post will address the design and delivery of community-based youth inclusion programmes targeting at risk young people in the Causeway Coast and Glens Council area. The project seeks to address the key issues of increasing confidence and self-esteem, motivation and employment opportunities to help young people re-engage with their communities through inclusive social activities, volunteering opportunities, education and training. The Project Coordinator will play a lead role in this process, with the support of the youth support workers.

All participants completed the qualification and produced some key rings using 3D printing using their own designs. Lots of fun and hot chocolate was had by all. A special big thank to Charlie from YEAR project and Stephen from Sunlea staff who facilitated this course.
