ENGAGE - Adult Social Prescribing
Led by Causeway Rural and Urban Network on behalf of Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council
The Engaged project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), to deliver the benefits of social prescribing. The programme will contribute towards building personal confidence and resilience, encouraging and supporting individuals to take heart from socialisation and strengthening their social networks as well as promoting a renewed ownership of individual health goals.
Launching in July 2025, the programme will bring together 325 participants from the Causeway Coast & Glens area to develop relationships and support individuals to share with others in their own wellbeing journey.
All participants will take part in a variety of health promoting activities based around the '5 steps to wellbeing'. There will also be networking events and opportunities to learn new skills over a period of 26 hours.
